This Cookie Policy explains how ExCards uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (local storage, pixels) on https://excards.io and https://ex.cards. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to remember your actions and preferences across pages and visits.
Used to: route requests to the correct Netlify edge node, maintain language preference (EN/RU), remember consent state. These cannot be disabled and are not used for tracking.
We use Google Analytics 4 (cookie prefix _ga, _gid) and Yandex Metrica (cookie prefix _ym) to understand site usage in aggregate. Data collected: page views, referrers, screen size, country, anonymized IP. Retention: up to 14 months.
The AI assistant on this site uses local storage to remember the chat session within a single visit. No cross-site tracking. Cleared when the browser tab is closed.
Cookies set by Google (Analytics), Yandex (Metrica), and OpenRouter (only when AI assistant is opened) are governed by their own privacy policies.
We do not run retargeting or behavioral advertising. We do not sell cookie data to third parties.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also offer a do-not-track signal which we respect. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will impair language switching and the AI assistant.
We will update this policy when we add or remove cookie categories. Material changes are announced via app.excards.io.
